Our History
Overcoming Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ was founded in 1975 by Charles Williams in Ashville, Alabama. From its early days, the church has served as a stronghold of Apostolic faith, sound doctrine, and spiritual growth within the state and the greater COOLJC organization.
As part of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC), Overcoming Church is a place where the Word of God is taught with clarity, worship is lifted in spirit and truth, and every believer is equipped to walk boldly in their calling.
Throughout the years, the church has reached several important milestones:
Today, Overcoming Church continues to thrive under the leadership of Apostle Williams. Ministries have been established, lives have been transformed, and God continues to add to the church. We remain rooted in truth, guided by the Holy Spirit, and committed to the work of the Kingdom.
Our church exists to glorify God, edify believers, and reach the world with the message of salvation.
