Apostle Charles Williams

Apostle Charles Williams is a respected spiritual leader who has dedicated more than fifty years to the work of the ministry. He began his journey in the state of Alabama where he planted his first church in Springville. Soon after, he established what is now Overcoming Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Ashville, Alabama.

He has pastored Overcoming Church for nearly five decades and has built a legacy of faith, leadership, and Kingdom impact. Apostle Williams is known for his anointed preaching, wisdom in counsel, and deep commitment to the body of Christ.

In 1996, he was consecrated as Bishop and appointed to serve as the leader of the newly established Northern Alabama Diocese within COOLJC. His leadership has expanded beyond the local church, guiding pastors, churches, and ministries throughout the region. In 2022, he was elevated to the office of Apostle in Greensboro, North Carolina, a recognition of his apostolic calling and decades of faithful service.
Apostle Williams has preached across the country and has been a sought-after speaker for revivals, conferences, and special services. His teachings have encouraged countless souls to grow in their faith and pursue a deeper relationship with God.

He is also a family man who has been married to Mother Patricia Williams for over fifty years. Together they have raised six children. Mother Williams serves faithfully in the women’s ministry and is known for her wisdom, grace, and mentorship. Their marriage has been a visible example of godly love and unity in both spiritual and family life.
